Specialty Infrastructure

Video surveillance, NVRs and door access—designed as part of the network.

Best Networks can deploy UniFi Protect camera systems and UniFi Access door-control solutions together with the cabling, PoE switching, storage and network infrastructure they depend on.

Planning cameras, NVRs or controlled access?

We can survey camera views, cable pathways, PoE capacity, storage retention, entrances and network requirements as one coordinated design.

Physical Security

Smart, AI-Enhanced Scalable Security

A professional camera deployment is more than mounting cameras. It includes field of view, lighting, cable pathways, PoE budget, switch capacity, storage retention, rack space, UPS planning and secure remote management.

UniFi G6 Pro Bullet camera

Bullet Cameras

Good for perimeter, parking, entrances and longer sightlines. UniFi's current physical-security family includes G6 Pro Bullet and other bullet cameras with AI and night-vision capabilities.

UniFi G6 Turret camera

Dome & Turret Cameras

Useful for interior and exterior locations where compact, vandal-resistant or wide-area coverage is desirable.

NVR

Network Video Recorders

We can size recording platforms around camera count, resolution and desired retention. UniFi Protect currently spans compact NVRs through larger multi-bay NVR and enterprise platforms.

Design principle: We size the recorder and storage to the required camera count and retention objective—not simply the lowest-cost box that happens to boot.
AI-Enhanced Protection

Find the event instead of searching hours of video.

Modern UniFi Protect systems can use on-camera AI and smart detections to help identify people, vehicles, faces and license plates, trigger alerts and automate responses. For manufacturing and industrial sites, that can make perimeter incidents, loading areas, employee entrances and vehicle activity much easier to review.

  • Person and vehicle detection
  • Face recognition on supported AI/G6 cameras
  • License plate recognition on supported cameras
  • Alarm Manager automations and event-based actions
  • Multi-site video walls and centralized viewing
  • Local recording with remote encrypted access
UniFi AI PTZ Industrial camera

Industrial-Grade AI PTZ

For large yards, manufacturing campuses and perimeter applications, UniFi's AI PTZ Industrial combines 4K video, enhanced AI, 22× optical zoom and long-range adaptive IR night vision in an industrial-grade PoE++ platform.

Best Networks warehouse camera and network infrastructure deployment
Warehouse camera and network infrastructure often requires elevated installation, PoE switching, cabling pathways and reliable facility coverage.
Industrial Security

Security cameras are part of the network.

Camera systems depend on reliable cabling, PoE, switching, storage, UPS protection and network segmentation. Treating them as isolated devices creates avoidable problems later.

Manufacturing & Industrial

Security designed for facilities—not just front doors.

Perimeter & Yards

PTZ, long-range IR, fixed cameras and LPR coverage for gates, parking lots, loading areas and exterior storage.

Production Areas

Video coverage for key process areas, shipping/receiving, inventory movement and incident review—subject to workplace/privacy policy requirements.

Multi-Site Operations

Centralized viewing, alarms and management across multiple facilities while recordings remain local to each configured UniFi Protect environment.

Door Access

Electronic access control integrated with the network.

UniFi Access supports modern readers, door hubs, intercoms, NFC credentials and other access-control components. Best Networks can install the network and low-voltage infrastructure, readers, door-control hardware and supporting PoE/network components as part of a coordinated project.

  • Single-door and multi-door projects
  • Access readers and intercoms
  • Door hubs and controlled locking hardware
  • Request-to-exit / exit-device integration
  • Network and PoE infrastructure
  • Coordination with cameras and entry video

A key boundary

Door hardware, life-safety, fire-alarm interfaces, egress requirements and local code must be handled correctly. We will define the IT/low-voltage portion clearly and coordinate required licensed trades or authorities where the project demands it.

That is part of doing the job right—not a limitation to hide.

One Platform, One Infrastructure

Security systems still depend on cabling and switching.

PoE Design

Camera and access devices consume power. Switch selection needs enough PoE budget, port density and uplink capacity.

Storage & Retention

Recording requirements should be stated in days, camera count and resolution so the NVR can be sized properly.

Segmentation

We can design VLANs and firewall policy so physical-security devices do not become an unmanaged flat-network island.
